Resident Council of Spring Terrace will hold its monthly regular meeting on Monday, September 8th, 2008 in the third floor lounge. We posted notices on the Resident Council bulletin board and in the common areas of the property.

All regular and special meetings are open to the public, pursuant to Article VI, Section 1 of the Bylaws of Resident Council of Spring Terrace Association, a Texas Nonprofit Association, as amended.

Resident Council of Spring Terrace Association has made a public information request to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation of all documents concerning elevators and related equipment at the Spring Terrace property. The request is in response to a Petition to Spring Terrace Housing Corporation, Landlord, dated June 3, 2008. We have made available a response from the Department, including the documents we requested.

The members of Resident Council of Spring Terrace will have an opportunity to amend the Bylaws of Resident Council of Spring Terrace Association at their next scheduled membership meeting on Monday, August 11, 2008.

Some of the changes include technical changes, purpose statement, eligibility requirements, voting rights of the members, duties of elected officers, records requirements, and requirements for dissolution. We are making available a draft copy of these changes in hopes of soliciting comments and suggestions as to improve our organizing document.
